I am a PhD student in microbial ecology, currently working on mangrove microbiotas. My supervisors are Philippe Cuny and Cécile Militon in the MEB team.

Mangrove ecosystems are highly complex at different temporal and spatial scales. By exploiting 16S metabarcoding data mainly acquired in Guadeloupe, Martinique, French Guiana and Mayotte, my thesis is exploring the impacts of global (biogeographical provinces, seasons), local (tidal and estuarine gradients) and microhabitat (roots, burrows, depth in sediment) heterogeneities on the structure and composition of mangrove sediment prokaryotic communities.
