IRD, Chulalongkorn University, AFD, SEI and USTH are very pleased to announce the second edition of the Regional Workshop on Southeast Asia Environmental Systems (SEAES2025), which will be held at Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand, from 17 to 20 June.
The workshop will focus on climate, resources and global health in aquatic socio-ecosystems, and is open to all participants from all Southeast Asian countries.
This second edition aims to strengthen scientific exchanges and, beyond that, to promote the development of regional multi-stakeholder research and training projects. It will bring together scientists from various disciplines working on common issues related to water cycles and management in rivers, coastal areas, deltas, and marine socio-ecosystems in Southeast Asia, as well as stakeholders engaged in transdisciplinary partnerships aimed at developing sustainable and impactful solutions for the region’s societies and environments. The workshop will include short oral presentations and poster scientific sessions as well as transdisciplinary panel discussions, roundtables and workshops.
Limited financial support will be available, in particular for young scientists and scientists from low-income countries.
Please fill in this form before 20 March to register, submit proposals (for scientific oral and poster presentations and interdisciplinary panels), and apply for financial support.
