Flow at the air/sea interface
The team's work revolves around a better understanding and modelling of turbulent flows at the air-sea interface and of atmospheric dynamics in the coastal zone, as well as the consequences for the properties and meteorology of the marine atmospheric boundary layer. This includes studying the evolution of wind-wave coupling, wave breaking (macro- and micro-scale), the source function of marine aerosol and its transport in the lower atmospheric layer.
