ANR - Support for European or International Scientific Networks - SRSEI 2024

As part of the "Building the European Research Area and International Attractiveness" component of the 2024 Action Plan, the "SRSEI" instrument is proposed with a continuous submission format.

The SRSEI programme was created to give scientists working in French laboratories who have submitted a research project as coordinator to European (Horizon Europe) or international collaborative calls for proposals the means to improve the quality of their application (full proposal or audition) for the final stage of the call in question.

In the context of this call for proposals, only proposals that aim to strengthen a European or international scientific network, coordinated by a French team that has been invited to continue its application to the final stage of a multi-stage European or international call for proposals, are expected.

NB: For any information or guidance concerning the "Horizon Europe" calls, please contact the NCPs (National Contact Points).

Selected proposals will receive a maximum of €17k in funding for a 12-month period. The funding received will be used exclusively to finance actions enabling the scientific network to meet again to prepare the final stage of the European or international application (mission expenses, meetings, receptions, etc.) and/or to provide services to help the coordinator finalise the European or international project. The ANR has taken steps to ensure that decisions are taken and funding is made very quickly:

  • a simplified submission file;
  • a single beneficiary of the aid on behalf of the entire consortium: the managing authority of the French public body or equivalent ;
  • simplified selection based on the evaluation already carried out by the European/international funding body;
  • a unilateral financing decision procedure

Deadline: 31 December 2024
