The OSU Institut Pythéas is launching its annual Call for Proposals, funded by the OSU's IRD grant, aimed at supporting observation projects in the South that are starting up or evolving, in particular to help take the first steps towards a possible accreditation, whatever that may be.
The amount allocated to each project is generally around €1-3k, depending on the number of projects received and their scale.
This internal AO of the OSU Institut Pythéas must not replace the AOs of the DAM IRD, in particular for :
- requests for specific loans,
- LTPs (financing of fixed-term contracts for temporary local staff) in the south,
- MLDs (long-term missions lasting 2 months, South-North or North-South),
- assignment requests.

The form is to be completed and returned in pdf format no later than Friday 28 March 2025 at 1 p.m. at the following address direction-observation@osupytheas.fr.
Applications will be assessed by members of the OSU Observations Committee between 28 March 2025 and the 3 April 2025and arbitrated at a Committee meeting on 4 April.
