The Eiffel Excellence Scholarships programme, launched in January 1999 by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is designed to support the international recruitment efforts of French higher education establishments, in a context of increased competition between developed countries to attract the elite of foreign students studying for Masters, Engineering or Doctorate degrees.
Eiffel scholarships are awarded for excellence in Master's and Doctoral degree courses.
Master's level application procedure
Please refer to the Campus France application guide for eligibility criteria and complete the contact form before 14/11/2024. Incomplete applications sent after the deadline will not be considered.
You will be asked to send a CV, a covering letter and your last three school reports. Don't forget to prepare them in advance!
Doctorate application procedure
To apply for the Eiffel Excellence Scholarship at doctoral level, you must complete the following steps:
Step 1: Contact the doctoral school (ED) concerned by your field of study to find out about the admission requirements. Step 2: Find a thesis director within Aix-Marseille University. Step 3: Complete the registration procedures indicated on the website of each doctoral school concerned. Please note that to be eligible for the Eiffel scholarship at doctoral level, you must be enrolled in a degree course at our university. Step 4: Send all the supporting documents requested by Campus France for the Eiffel scholarship application to your Aix-Marseille University thesis director before 14/11/2024.
