The Southern Region has launched a call for projects Young Innovative Doctors 2025. One of the aims of this experimental scheme is to bring together the worlds of business and academia.
To this end, the Region, in partnership with regional teaching and research establishments, would like to encourage the creation of companies and the transfer of technologies by young doctors by enabling them to benefit from a status, funding and support to bring their project to fruition.
This scheme concerns young doctors who defended their thesis in the Region less than 3 years agoThis is the case whether they have benefited from an Emploi Jeune Doctorant (EJD) from the Region or funding through a research contract.
Regional funding is planned at 75 % of the total cost for 12 months' salary, up to a maximum of €33,750 per project. Co-financing must be provided by the partner laboratory or company and identified when the application is submitted.
