AXA post-doctoral fellowships: "Towards more resilient Coastal Livelihoods".

Axa Research Fund finances fundamental research projects dedicated to a better understanding of risks, threats and societal challenges.

The AXA post-doctoral fellowship call for projects: "Towards more resilient Coastal Livelihoods" has been launched in partnership with the IOC-UNESCO Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission.

This call for projects will fund the salary of a post-doctoral student and the cost of his/her research project for a maximum of 24 months, up to a maximum of €125,000.

Applicants must have held a doctorate for a maximum of 5 years, demonstrate scientific excellence and show strong potential in terms of innovation, transformation and dissemination of their research. Researchers must have already obtained their doctorate at the time of applying for an AXA scholarship.

The research project must demonstrate scientific originality and innovative aspects. Selected proposals must meet the approval criteria for "Decade Actions" of the IOC-UNESCO "Ocean Decade" implementation plan: https://unesdoc.unesco.org/ark:/48223/pf0000377082.locale=en.
