AMU 2022 Dissertation Prize

Each year, the University of Aix-Marseille awards a prize for the most exemplary theses defended by doctoral students registered at AMU.

The evaluation criteria chosen by the institution mainly concern scientific quality, the originality of the work carried out, the impact of the results obtained and their exploitation.

To select theses, taking into account the opinions of the pre-defence rapporteurs and the defence report, each doctoral school board is asked to propose a pre-selection of applications based on these criteria.

The number of theses proposed should correspond to a maximum of around 10% of theses defended within your school during the 2021 calendar year.

AMU will also pay close attention to gender parity when examining ED proposals.

Please send your proposals, using the attached summary table, by Friday 10 June 2022 at the latest to the Doctoral Training Department (DFD): dfd-affgen@univ-amu.fr) together with a letter setting out the reasons for your selection.

Contact Pascal Lesage to obtain the documents, thank you.

Each proposal must include a summary of the thesis, the pre-tenure and defense reports, publications relating to the thesis, the curriculum vitae of the young doctor, the attached form duly completed and any additional documents you consider useful for assessing the applications.

The doctoral training department (dfd-affgen@univ-amu.fr) remains at your disposal for any further information.
