The European Research and Innovation project RERIPA "REnforcement des ecosystèmes de R&I pour contrer les impacts du changement climatique dans le PAcifique, 2021-2025" has just published its first two online calls for tender on the Pacific Islands Development Forum website:
http://www.pidf.int/call-for-proposals-research-innovation-and-impacts-o…
The first two calls for proposals, "1: Mapping the Pacific R&I Network" and "2: Capacity Building for Small Pacific Island Countries", closed on 28/02/2022. The next two calls for proposals, "3: Living Labs" and "4: Monitoring Living Labs", will be published in a few months' time (July-August), based on the results of Calls for Proposals 1 and 2.
RERIPA can only fund projects for Small Pacific Island Countries according to the rule established by OEACP R&I and ACP Innovation in Europe. The link between civil society and research is essential and will be reflected in the co-construction of "Living Labs". The involvement of the MIO in future Living Labs would be very welcome, especially as it would be done in association with the PPIP holders. All colleagues will be contacted by the consortium in the coming weeks and months.
I remain at the disposal of all colleagues who would like further information.
For further information, please write to contact@reripa.com
