Université de Toulon honours the best young researchers Thursday 3 and Friday 4 April 2025 with three events organised in the Pi building on the Toulon-Porte d'Italie campus:
The 12th doctoriades University of Toulon. Held every two years, the Doctoriades are designed to promote doctoral research. The theme of these days will be "transmission" through three parallel workshops organised and run by doctoral students, under the scientific responsibility of the laboratories, with the aim of encouraging exchanges between doctoral students, teacher-researchers and researchers within a multidisciplinary framework.
An inaugural conference/debate will open the first day, entitled : Beyond the environmental impact of research The conference will be led by Marie Jacqué, senior lecturer in sociology at AMU's Population Environment Development Laboratory, and Manuel Mercier, researcher at AMU's Systems Neuroscience Institute (Inserm).
The evening of Thursday 3 Aprilopen to all curious minds, will be punctuated by 2 events starting at 6.30pm in amphitheatre FA.001 of the Pi building:
These events are organised by the Doctoral College in conjunction with the 509 "Mediterranean Societies and Human Sciences" doctoral school, the 548 "Sea and Sciences" doctoral school, and the research laboratories of the University of Toulon, with the financial support of the Toulon-Provence-Méditerranée Metropolitan Area, the Var Departmental Council and the University's three thematic clusters (Sea, Environment, Sustainable Development; Information, Digital, Prevention, Health; Mediterranean Exchanges and Societies).
