This seminar to launch the RISC (Risks and societies in the era of global environmental change: issues, knowledge and policies) of the PEPR Risques (IRiMa) will be held on 14 and 15 November 2024 at the IPGP, 1 rue Jussieu, 75005 Paris.

The aim of the conference is to discuss a review of scientific work in the social and human sciences on risks and disasters, and the research prospects proposed within the RISC framework. It will bring together speakers from a range of disciplines (sociology, history, geography, political science, anthropology), with international work providing a perspective.
