Carried out with the financial support of the Mission (80 PRIME MITI CNRS), the Abysses project set out to use a multidisciplinary and ecosystem-based approach to analyse the legal regime of this global commons in order to examine its ability to ensure the sustainable management of the deep seabed at global, regional and national levels in the era of the Anthropocene.
