Le 8th Symposium on Environmental Biotechnology and Engineering will be held from 20 at 24 October 2025 in Recife, State of Pernambuco, Brazil. The event is open to researchers, students and professionals from industry or public administrations interested in the themes of the symposium.

The event will be held at theInstitute for petroleum and energy research (iLITPEG) at the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE) in Recife.

• 20 April 2025 Deadline for submission of abstracts
• 20 April 2025 Registration fee payment platform now open
• 20 May 2025 Notification to authors that their submission has been approved
• 20 June 2025 Deadline for advance payment of registration fees
• 20 September 2025 : Closure of the platform for paying registration fees
• 20 October 2025: Start of symposium activities
