A bank of microorganisms isolated at the MIO from various natural or man-made ecosystems, consisting mainly of anaerobic or microaerophilic organisms.

Two components:

• Collection - ISO9001 quality certified - 484 micro-organisms also deposited in at least one international bank
• Collection - Proprietary - 930 microorganisms (including 83 in ISO9001 quality-certified collections)
